Mini-Mitter® Family
Mini Mitter designs, develops, and manufactures scientific equipment
and medical devices for ambulatory monitoring of physiological and behavioral
parameters in humans and animals. For 34 years, scientists and clinicians
have depended on our products and our outstanding customer support.
With Mini Mitter products, you can monitor activity levels (using actigraphy)
to determine energy expenditure, sleep/wake patterns, sleep quality,
and evaluate circadian rhythms. You can monitor body temperature, heart
rate and heart rate variability, and stress responses with our biotelemetry
technology. Our wearable electronic diaries have also been used to record
pain levels, track subject compliance and treatment efficacy. All of
this can be done continuously. 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Pediatric to geriatric, mice to men, miniaturized products from Mini
Mitter are appropriate for all subjects.

ActiCal® Physical
Activity Monitor
Actical Physical Activity Monitors provide an objective, quantifiable
measure of Physical Activity and Energy (Caloric) Expenditure for
your research. Activity level thresholds (cut point) determination
and quantitative activity analysis are recognized as being important
components of weight management and sports medicine research. They
can be a valuable measurement tool in any area where exercise plays
a critical role. |

Actiheart™
The Actiheart is an innovative, remarkably compact device that records
physical activity and heart rate with a high level of accuracy.
Levels of caloric expenditure can be determined using the information
acquired by the device. |

Actiwatch®
Actiwatches are small, rugged, actigraphy-based data loggers
that record a digitally integrated measure of gross motor
activity. Each model of Actiwatch actigraph is equipped with
a highly sensitive accelerometer as well as the ability to
record data from a second input or sensor. This second input
makes them very useful for a wide variety of research or
clinical applications. |

Mini-Logger® 2000 Series
Mini Logger Series 2000 is a compact data logger that is capable of monitoring
up to five channels of physiological data simultaneously. It helps in monitoring
heart rate parameters, such as interbeat interval (IBI) and beats per minute,
which is important for determining a subject's heart rate variability (HRV). |

Nalgene
Cages
Mini Mitter offers a full line of Nalgene domicile cages, running
wheels and metabolic cages. These laboratory animal cages are precisely
machined from the highest grades of polycarbonate and stainless steel
to insure long lasting performance. They are the cages of choice
for use with the VitalView Data Acquisition system and are valuable
tools for monitoring behavioral parameters in many types of research
applications. |

VitalSense® Monitor
VitalSense monitors can receive transmissions from multiple miniature, wireless,
temperature sensors. Core temperature is sensed by the ingestible Jonah™ capsule.
Dermal temperatures are recorded from hypoallergenic, non-irritating, adhesive
dermal patches. Both sensor types are disposable, but designed for multi-day
use under demanding physical and environmental conditions. Both types of sensors
use low-power radio frequency transmissions to communicate with the Monitor. |
